Summary Of Career and Employment Centre

The Career and Employment Centre is one of Unitec’s Services. It is located in the Student Service Building 48 opposite Course Information. Firstly, the Centre offers free services and has different workshops for students. For example, carrier planning is a workshop to check out whether students are doing the course that is best for them. This workshop provides students the opportunity to consider key strengths, skills, personality type and values. In addition, carrier counseling is available free to full-time students. Secondly, they help students write a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and find a job related to their area of study. They also develop student confidence for job interviews. Therefore, this free Unitec service is important for students seeking course related employment.
